You are the sky.
Everything else is just the weather. (Pema Chodron)

What is Mindfulness?

Mindfulness is the gradual rediscovery of our natural resources, with the intention of accepting ourselves and whatever is around us, staying present to what happens with a non-judgmental attitude and with the so-called ‘beginner’s mind’.

Research in neuroscience increasingly confirms its positive impact on:

  • our concentration and attention
  • our capacity to face difficulties, disease and stress
  • our perception of what happens around us
  • the prevention of depression and anxiety
  • the development of creating thinking
  • …and much more

Mindful Voices

'The most beautiful experience has been with a boy who started feeling loving kindness towards his father, even if this is still hard for him, thanks to the practice... today, after our practice with the pebbles, he said it was like releasing some weight with each breath.'
Francesca
(Child Psychologist, Perugia)
'I leaned that my lifestyle is exactly the opposite of what Mindfulness suggests and I feel grateful for this insight. Now, during my day, I manage to recognise my 'stressors' and I stop and listen to myself more.'
MBSR Participant
(Siracusa)
'Mindfulness helps me to get out of the spiral of negative thoughts, to let go, and to accept that I cannot always control everything, and this is ok! Claudia is an engaging and yet discreet Instructor; she has taken us inside a fascinating world, offering us a wide variety of interesting and very useful ideas to apply in our everyday life.'
